Tears start to well up in my eyes as this memory plays out in my mind. It's such a stark contrast to where I am now, hiding under a bed, surrounded by danger and death

I clench my fists and my mind suddenly drifts to Frank.

Where is he? Is he okay? This worry eats away at me, sitting heavily in my stomach like a stone. With every second that ticks by, I become more anxious, wanting nothing more than to see Frank, to have some sign that he's okay. The need to know he's safe is overwhelming.

Yet, despite this growing desperation, the sounds of chaos and danger just beyond the room keep me rooted under the bed. It's a frustrating, helpless feeling, being stuck here, unable to act on my need to find him.

Prayers escape my lips like desperate whispers. Please, let him be fine. Let this nightmare end.
